Asiedu Nketia Urges Patience, Unity Among NDC Grassroots During Upper East Tour.

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has called on party supporters to remain patient, united, and committed as the party embarks on a series of post-election engagements across the country.
Speaking during his “thank you tour” of the Upper East Region, Mr. Nketia reassured grassroots supporters that their dedication to the party’s success has not gone unnoticed and would ultimately be rewarded.
Addressing enthusiastic party faithful, he employed a relatable metaphor to underscore confidence in the party’s leadership: “When your mother is in the kitchen, you are assured of a meal.” The statement, widely applauded by supporters, symbolized trust in the leadership’s ability to deliver on expectations.
The first day of his tour saw him visit the Talensi, Nabdam, Bongo, and Bongo East constituencies, where he interacted with chiefs, community leaders, and party members. The visits form part of the NDC’s broader effort to show appreciation to voters and reconnect with its grassroots base following the elections.
Mr. Nketia emphasized the importance of unity within the party, urging members to put aside differences and focus on strengthening the NDC’s structures at the grassroots level.
He noted that sustaining party cohesion and commitment is crucial as the NDC prepares for future political contests, adding that the contributions of supporters across all levels remain vital to the party’s long-term success.
The chairman’s message resonated strongly with attendees, many of whom expressed renewed optimism about the party’s direction and pledged their continued support for its activities in the region.
