Dreamz FM’s Nicholas Azebire selected for Young African Journalists Training in Egypt

Head of News at Dreamz FM Nicholas Nambirigya Azebire has been selected by the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) to represent Ghana at the 61st Training Session for Young African Journalists in Cairo, Egypt.
Nicholas Azebire is among 30 young journalists selected across Africa for this year’s edition of the annual training in the Northern African country.
The three-week training organized annually by the Union of African Journalists seeks to build the capacities of African Journalists and position them to better tell the African story.
For the next three weeks, participants will undertake various courses aimed at equipping them with modern journalistic skills. They also have the opportunity to network and share knowledge on telling the African story.
A journalist with close to decade of experience, Nicholas Azebire has impacted lives and helped restored hope to those in despair.
He has won several awards for his impactful journalism and was, in 2023, crowned the Most Promising Journalist at the Upper East Regional GJA awards.
This training is expected to improve his skills and better position him to continue conducting enterprise reporting.
