NDC Ready to Debate NPP Across All Sectors — Abdallah Salifu Jonathan

The Upper East Regional Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Abdallah Salifu Jonathan, has declared the party’s readiness to engage the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in a comprehensive debate on the performance of the economy.

According to him, although the current NDC administration has spent less than two years in office, it has made significant strides across various sectors, with tangible improvements already being felt in the lives of Ghanaians.

“Let me put it on record—if they want, we can go on a debate sector by sector,” he stated, expressing confidence in the government’s track record.

Mr. Abdallah further accused the Minority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, of attempting to create a false impression that the NDC government is underperforming. He dismissed such claims as inaccurate and politically motivated.

He emphasized that contrary to the opposition’s narrative, the government is working diligently to deliver on its mandate and improve socio-economic conditions across the country.

Mr. Abdallah reaffirmed the NDC’s commitment to transparency and accountability, noting that the party is prepared at any time to defend its performance with verifiable evidence.
