Stephen Bewong Commiserates with NHIS Deputy CEO and Family at Mother’s Funeral

Mr. Stephen Bewong, Gbandaan of the Sakote Paramountcy and Deputy Director in charge of Management Information Systems (MIS) at the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) Headquarters, has paid a heartfelt visit to commiserate with his boss and the bereaved family during the funeral rites of their late mother.

Mr. Bewong joined family members, relatives, colleagues and sympathisers at the funeral grounds to mourn the passing of Madam Assibi Kanluke Elizabeth, the mother of Lawyer Anatuh Seidu Bogobiri. His presence, according to family sources, was a mark of solidarity and deep respect for the bereaved family in their time of sorrow.

During the ceremony, Mr. Bewong offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the soul of the late Madam Assibi Kanluke Elizabeth and shared words of comfort with Madam Anatuh and the entire family. He encouraged them to remain steadfast and strong, reminding them of the enduring legacy and values their late mother bequeathed to them.

Demonstrating his personal commitment and support, Mr. Bewong travelled from sokote in the Nabdam tradtional area to attend the funeral, underscoring the importance of standing with colleagues and loved ones during moments of profound loss. He joined other mourners in celebrating the life, virtues and contributions of the late matriarch, whose life, many noted, was marked by humility, dedication to family and service to her community.

As the family continues to mourn, prayers were said for God’s divine protection, guidance and consolation to be upon them during this difficult period and in the days ahead. The funeral rites concluded with calls on friends, well-wishers and loved ones to uphold the family in prayer as they navigate their loss and honour the cherished memory of their departed mother.
