The People of Bolgatanga Central Will See Massive Development from the MP” – NDC Communications Officer

The Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Bolgatanga Central Constituency has assured residents of accelerated development, citing the ongoing efforts of Member of Parliament Isaac Adongo.

The assurance follows a recent inspection tour by the MP, during which he assessed seven key development projects—both ongoing and completed—across the constituency. The visit forms part of his broader strategy to monitor and ensure the timely delivery of initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure, healthcare, education, and water management.

Speaking on Bluewaves Breakfast Show, the constituency Communications Officer, Mr. Job Aboyom, commended the MP’s dedication, noting that he remains resolute in his commitment to transforming the municipality.

“Honourable Adongo is not relenting at all. He is working tirelessly to uplift the image and living standards of the people of Bolgatanga Central,” he stated.

Among the projects inspected was the newly completed Amogrebisi Bridge, a critical infrastructure expected to enhance connectivity among communities. Once operational, the bridge is anticipated to ease transportation, reduce travel time, and stimulate economic activities within the area.

In the health sector, the MP toured the fully completed Anateem CHPS Compound, which is expected to significantly improve access to primary healthcare services while easing pressure on larger health facilities. He also visited the Beongo CHPS Compound, currently about 70 percent complete, which will further expand healthcare delivery, particularly in underserved communities.

Work is also progressing steadily on the Anateem Daycare Centre, which is approximately 50 percent complete. Upon completion, the facility will provide early childhood education and support for working parents.

In the education sector, renovation works at Nyariga Primary School have reached about 70 percent completion. The project is expected to create a more conducive learning environment for both pupils and teachers, ultimately enhancing academic performance.

The MP further inspected the Tindaana’s Project, a community development initiative that is about 80 percent complete. The project aims to strengthen traditional leadership structures and encourage active community participation in local governance and development.

Additionally, the tour included the ongoing dredging of the Tindonsobligo-Tindomolgo Dam. The exercise is expected to improve water storage capacity, support dry-season farming, and ensure a sustainable water supply for surrounding communities.

Reaffirming his commitment during the tour, Isaac Adongo emphasized that these projects are part of a broader agenda to improve living conditions and drive inclusive development across the constituency.

The inspection underscores growing expectations among residents, as stakeholders anticipate the timely completion of these initiatives to deliver tangible socio-economic benefits.
