Upper East RFA Gears Up for New Season with Renewed Energy after a successful 15th Ordinary Session of Congress:

The Competitions Department of the Upper East Regional Football Association has officially released the fixtures for the 2025/26 Division Two League season.
The league is scheduled to kick off on Friday, October 31, 2025, across all zones, and will run until February 16, 2026.
This season’s campaign will feature 24 clubs from across the region, grouped into three zones (Zones 1, 2, and 3), with eight clubs in each zone competing for a place in the Middle League. The ultimate Middle League champion will earn promotion to the National Division One League.
During its recently held 15th Ordinary Session of Congress, the Upper East RFA announced that the 2025/26 Zonal Champions (Zones 1, 2, and 3) will each receive a trophy and medals as motivation and recognition for their efforts. Additionally, individual awards will be presented to outstanding players throughout the season, especially during the Middle League stage.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup, set to take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026, has also influenced the local football calendar. As a result, domestic competitions are expected to start early and conclude by May 2026, in line with the approved FIFA calendar ahead of the global showpiece.
