A staunch member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Upper East Region, Raphael Kpinn, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Constituency Communications Director for the Bolgatanga East Constituency.
Mr. Kpinn made his intentions known during an interview on Bluewaves Radio, where he emphasized the need for a more vibrant, strategic, and fact-based communication approach to restore public confidence in the party.
“We need a vibrant and fact-based communication to win back the trust of Ghanaians, and I am committed to that,” he stated.
The announcement follows an earlier declaration he made on his official Facebook page, where he outlined his vision and commitment to strengthening communication within the constituency.
In his statement, Mr. Kpinn underscored the critical role of communication in building a strong and effective political party, noting that Bolgatanga East requires proactive and unifying messaging to enhance grassroots engagement and ensure the steady flow of accurate information.
If elected, he pledged to promote truthful and responsible communication, improve the party’s media visibility and digital presence, and strengthen communication structures at the electoral area and polling station levels. He also assured party members of his commitment to unity, discipline, and collaboration with key stakeholders.
According to him, the decision to contest comes after extensive consultations with party faithful and mentors who believe in his capacity to serve effectively.
Mr. Kpinn concluded by appealing to delegates and party supporters for their backing as he seeks to contribute to building a stronger NPP in Bolgatanga East ahead of the 2028 general elections.
