In a rare show of party unity, Casper Sunday Kampoli has been elected unopposed as the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Regional Communications Officer for the Upper East Region.
Moments after the uncontested vote, Kampoli released a formal statement expressing deep gratitude and outlining an ambitious agenda focused on proactive communication and the party’s “Agenda 15/15.”
“Going unopposed is the greatest form of honour and trust in an elective position,” Kampoli said. He thanked the regional executives, constituency leaders, grassroots members, and all party stakeholders for the “uncommon confidence” placed in him.
True to his style, Kampoli quickly shifted from appreciation to commitment. “My best form of gratitude will be action,” he declared, promising to work strategically to strengthen the party, promote its shared vision, and drive the Agenda 15/15 through effective political communication.
He made a direct appeal for unity, calling on party faithful for their “unflinching, unwavering support.” Nothing meaningful, he noted, can be achieved without collective effort.
Acknowledging those who came before him, Kampoli said he is “stepping into the shoes of giants.” He pledged to seek the counsel of his predecessors while striving to match and even surpass their achievements.
In a reflective close, Kampoli placed his trust in God for wisdom, knowledge, strength, and guidance. He blessed the NDC and the people of the Upper East Region with a simple, determined message: “Together we shall succeed.”
The statement was signed by Casper Sunday Kampoli as Upper East NDC Regional Communications Officer Elect.
With the position secured without contest, all eyes now turn to how Kampoli will translate this mandate of trust into results on the ground.
