
The Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga Central Constituency, Isaac Adongo, has taken a significant step toward improving educational infrastructure by securing the renovation of the well-known Bolgatanga Model Preparatory School.
The project, which aims to modernize the aging facility, has been officially awarded to a contractor and is expected to be completed within the next 18 months. The renovation is set to enhance teaching and learning conditions, while restoring the school’s standing as one of the municipality’s notable basic education institutions.
Speaking on the initiative, Mr. Adongo emphasized his commitment to quality and accountability, assuring constituents that delivering value for money will remain his top priority throughout the execution of the project. He stressed the importance of ensuring that public resources are used efficiently to achieve lasting impact.

The scope of work is expected to include the refurbishment of classrooms, improvements in sanitation facilities, and general structural upgrades to create a more conducive learning environment for pupils and staff.
The intervention forms part of broader efforts by the MP to strengthen the education sector through targeted infrastructure development. Residents and education stakeholders have welcomed the move, expressing optimism that the upgraded facility will positively influence academic performance and increase enrollment.
