Agenda 111 Hospitals to Be Completed — Asiedu Nketia Assures Nabdam Residents

The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia, has announced that the ongoing Agenda 111 hospital project will soon be completed and made operational as part of efforts to improve healthcare delivery in the Nabdam Constituency in the Upper East Region.

He made this known during his thank-you tour of the constituency, where he engaged chiefs, party supporters, and residents as part of a broader visit to communities across the region.

Mr. Nketia acknowledged the delays that have affected the implementation of the Agenda 111 initiative—one of the country’s major healthcare infrastructure programmes—but assured residents that the challenges are being addressed to ensure timely completion.

“These hospitals will soon be completed and fully operational, and Nabdam Constituency will benefit immensely once they become functional,” he stated.

The Agenda 111 initiative, which involves the construction of 111 district hospitals across the country, is aimed at expanding access to healthcare services, particularly in underserved communities, while easing pressure on existing facilities.

According to Mr. Nketia, the completion and operationalisation of the hospitals will significantly improve access to quality healthcare, reduce the distance residents travel to seek medical attention, and ultimately save lives.

He also expressed appreciation to the people of Nabdam for their continued support for the NDC, urging them to remain patient as the government works to complete ongoing development projects.

The NDC Chairman was accompanied by national, regional, constituency, and branch executives of the party during the one-day tour, which also took him to Talensi, Bongo, and Bolgatanga East constituencies.

The visit formed part of a broader engagement strategy by the party’s leadership to strengthen unity among supporters, reconnect with grassroots communities, and assess development needs across the Upper East Region.
