The Upper East Regional Police Commander, John Ferguson Dzineku, has lauded the Attorney General and Minister for Justice, as well as Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga East Constituency, Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, for spearheading the construction of an ultramodern police station in the constituency.
According to DCOP Dzineku, the initiative represents a significant intervention in strengthening security infrastructure and enhancing effective policing in the Bolgatanga East area. He described the project as timely and impactful, particularly in improving operational efficiency and boosting morale among police personnel.
Speaking at a ceremony to mark the commencement of the project, the Regional Commander commended Dr. Ayine for his foresight and commitment to the safety and development of his constituents. He noted that such contributions by public office holders demonstrate leadership that goes beyond political rhetoric.
“This is a commendable effort that will go a long way to improve policing and ensure the safety of lives and property in the constituency,” DCOP Dzineku stated.
He further urged other political leaders, corporate institutions, and well-meaning individuals to emulate the example set by the Attorney General by investing in security and community development projects.
DCOP Dzineku emphasized that collaboration between government officials, private individuals, and security agencies remains critical in addressing emerging security challenges and maintaining peace and stability in communities.
On his part, Dr. Ayine reiterated his commitment to supporting the security services and ensuring that residents of Bolgatanga East live in a safe and secure environment. He noted that the police station project forms part of broader efforts to improve infrastructure and public service delivery within the constituency.
The construction of the ultramodern facility is expected to provide a conducive working environment for officers and enhance the overall effectiveness of the Ghana Police Service in the district.
Residents and stakeholders present at the event expressed appreciation for the initiative, describing it as a major boost to security and development in Bolgatanga East.
