Bolgatanga, Upper East Region – The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Upper East Regional Secretary aspirant, Daniel Ayine, has reaffirmed his commitment to serving the party at a higher level, insisting that his decision to contest for the position was carefully considered and backed by years of dedication and sacrifice.
Mr. Ayine said his ambition to become the next Regional Secretary is not driven by personal interest but by a desire to contribute his experience, knowledge, and skills towards strengthening the party’s structures and improving its fortunes in the region.
According to him, the decision to enter the race was the outcome of extensive reflection and consultations, and he remains confident that his vision and track record will receive the endorsement of party delegates.
“My decision to contest for the position of Upper East Regional Secretary was well thought out, and I am confident it will surely come to pass,” he stated.
The aspirant highlighted his long-standing commitment to the NPP, stressing that his journey within the party began from the grassroots level, where he actively contributed to party activities before rising through the ranks to become the Upper East Regional Treasurer.
He maintained that his years of service have given him a deep understanding of the challenges facing the party at all levels, particularly the concerns of grassroots members who form the foundation of the NPP.
“I have worked hard for the party, starting from the grassroots level and rising to the Regional Treasurer position. The delegates can testify to my dedication, and I know they will honour me with their votes as their next Regional Secretary,” Mr. Ayeni said.
The Regional Secretary hopeful believes his experience in party administration, financial management, and organisational work places him in a strong position to effectively coordinate the activities of the party’s regional secretariat.
He further assured party members and delegates that, if given the opportunity, his leadership would focus on strengthening internal unity, improving communication between the regional executives and constituency structures, and ensuring that the concerns of party members are adequately addressed.
Mr. Ayine called on delegates to consider his record of service, commitment, and loyalty as they make their decision, expressing confidence that his years of contribution to the party will speak for him.
