A leading member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Navrongo Central Constituency, Moses A. Amoah, has officially declared his intention to contest for the position of Constituency Chairman ahead of the party’s upcoming internal restructuring.
In a statement addressed to party faithful, Mr. Amoah said his decision follows extensive consultations with stakeholders across the constituency, coupled with a deep-seated commitment to the growth and success of the NPP.
He highlighted his long-standing service to the party, having held several key roles including Polling Station Secretary, Electoral Area Coordinator, member of the Constituency Communication Team, Assembly Member at the Kassena-Nankana Municipal Assembly (KNMA), member of the Regional Communications Team, and currently serving as Constituency Secretary for two terms.
According to him, these experiences have equipped him with strong grassroots knowledge and institutional insight, positioning him as a capable leader ready to steer the affairs of the party at the constituency level.
“At this crucial juncture in our party’s journey, Navrongo Central requires a proactive, competent, and experienced leader who understands the local political dynamics and can unify the party towards victory,” he stated.
Mr. Amoah emphasized his vision to rebuild and energize the party’s base, noting that his leadership would focus on strategic resourcing, open dialogue, consensus-building, motivation, and collaboration among party members at all levels.
He further expressed his commitment to working closely with polling station executives, constituency officers, and national leadership to reposition the NPP in the constituency and recapture the parliamentary seat in the 2028 general elections.
As he transitions from consultations to active campaigning, Mr. Amoah appealed to party delegates and supporters for their prayers, guidance, and unwavering support.
He concluded with a call for unity, stressing that collective effort is key to building a stronger, more resilient, and vibrant NPP in Navrongo Central.
