Berekum City FC Crowned Upper East Division Two Champions, Secure Promotion to Division One

Berekum City Football Club have officially been crowned champions of the 2025/2026 Upper East Regional Division Two League season, sealing their return to higher-tier football.

The newly crowned champions were presented with a trophy, medals, and a cash prize of GHC 4,000 to support their preparations for the upcoming Access Bank Division One League.

Berekum City FC secured the sole qualification slot after an impressive campaign in the Middle League, where they amassed 12 points to finish top of the table. Their journey to the title saw them overcome strong competition from fellow former Division One sides, including Paga Crocodile Stars, Bongo Be Samba Stars, Bolga Soccer Masters FC Ltd, and Zorkor United.

Their only setback in the Middle League came against Navrongo Liberty Stars, but it proved insufficient to derail their title charge as they maintained consistency to emerge champions.

With this achievement, Berekum City FC have officially booked their place in the 2026/2027 Division One League season, marking a significant milestone in the club’s resurgence.
